- We can alert you if a better deal comes along or if your fixed rate is coming to
an end.
- We will take into account new special offers and exit charges from your current
supplier, to help you decide when and whether to switch.
- If you are interested in factors such as ‘green’ energy, fixed price tariffs or
customer service then we can help you find a suitable tariff.
Ease of use
- We retain your details – in a secure database – so you don’t have to re-enter them
every time you want to switch.
- You can choose how you would like to receive updates - by post, email, telephone
or (soon) even by text message.
- We aim to make the processes as simple as possible for you. You stay in control,
but we do the work, automating processes and doing the mundane admin for you.
Accessibility for all
- We can manage your on-line tariff for you, alerting you when you need to take action
(such as taking a meter reading).
- If you don’t have internet access, we will print out any important information and
post it to you.
- Energy bills can be confusing. We will check your bill for you if you have any questions.
- We are available to speak to on the telephone (in working hours) or can call you
back outside these times if you prefer.
Keeping payments at the right level - avoiding large debit and credit balances
- We can help you avoid building up large credits or debits with energy suppliers.
We will hold your meter readings even when you move supplier and will tell you how
much you should be paying any time you like.
- When you change supplier, your new supplier will take time to build up a pattern
of usage. We will hold your usage records and advise you what payments are appropriate.
- To avoid shocks, when you are about to switch, we can help estimate what your final
bill will be.
- If you provide a meter reading at any time, we can tell you what your payment level
should be.
